What did this tree do? Looks like a woodpecker on steroids got an attitude with this poor tree! Definitely an interesting subject to photograph. ;-)
Either a woodpecker or some very large pine beetles :) Great texture!
some woodpeckers with some nervous energy forsure...their husbands must be in costa rica. hehehe.....
that tree may not be long for this world
Even damage can be pretty.
